SimQRi - Simulative Quantification of Risk Consequences and Internal Measure Effects in Complex Supply Chains for External Risk Treatment

The technological goal of this project is to set up a tool which leads SMEs to a methodology of quantified risk assessment enabling these SMEs to define a optimum parameter (e.g. order frequency, safety stock, etc.) setting assuring minimum of costs (stock costs, order costs, risk costs, etc.).

The assoc. Institute for Management Cybernetics e.V. (IfU), the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology, IPT, and the Centre d’Excellence en Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication Charleroi (CETIC) develop a software-tool for simulative assessment and operative treatment of supply risks.

IGF project 127 N by research institution "IfU" is financially supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in context of the program for promotion of joint industrial research (IGF) by the AiF.
